Avocado Spicy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps


Did you know avocados are rich in stress-relieving B vitamins? Yes, they’re also delicious and loaded with health benefits. Try these tasty Avocado Spicy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps for dinner. Store leftovers for a quick lunch the next day.


  • Spicy Shrimp Ingredients:
  • 15-20 shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1⁄2 tsp paprika
  • 1⁄2 tsp cumin
  • 1⁄2 tsp hot chili powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp Ground pepper
  • 1⁄2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1⁄2 lime, juiced
  • 1 scallion, chopped
  • 1⁄2 cup baby arugula
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce (leave whole)

Jalapeño Avocado Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado
1 clove garlic
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 1⁄2 lime, juiced
1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro


In a large bowl combine shrimp, paprika, cumin, chili powder, and ground pepper.

In a skillet, sauté shrimp in olive oil on medium heat for about 3 minutes (shrimp should turn pink). Squeezed 1⁄2 lime over top of shrimp while cooking.

In a blender combine all sauce ingredients and blend until smooth.

On a large lettuce leaf, place arugula, shrimp, scallions, tomato and sauce.
